Gluten free air dry modeling clay for kids. I love these vibrant colors!

My daughter Anna loves making things out of this clay! It’s easy to use, and she finds the vibrant colors highly engaging.

We love this vibrant gluten free air dry modeling clay.

Our acrylic rollers work beautifully with this clay. Anna created a whimsical scene featuring two flowers with a fairy (that’s the yellow thing) resting underneath.

Preschool art project

I caught part of her creation work on video. You’ll notice she has a hard time getting one of the flowers to stick. It would have worked better with a little water to stick the pieces together. Small amounts of water are great for softening the clay and getting piece of clay to stick to one another. Just don’t add too much!

Sculpt It! dries to a hard ceramic-like finish. It’s nice and smooth, and very rewarding for kids to create with. It’s also a great texture for making beads for necklaces and other jewelry.

How Messy is This Toy?

It’s pretty low-mess. It doesn’t crumble, and it’s not sticky.

How Much Play Time Will this Toy Inspire?

This always depends on the child, as well as the project. This is a consumable toy – you make something out of the clay, dry it, and then you’ll have to buy more clay if you want to make it again. Clay that is older can be softened again using water, potentially extending play time. We recommend this clay for smaller projects, starting with beads and through to little scenes like the one Anna created in this post. This clay can be sanded, drilled, and painted after it is dry.

What Ages Is This Toy For?

This is an age 3 through adulthood toy. Older users will simply create more complex pieces of art.
